As if celebrating Christmas at the end of April wasn’t surprising enough: During a special night of programming to celebrate 25 years of the Fox network, the producers of “The Simpsons” slipped in the above title card at the end of a Sunday rerun of “Simpsons Roasting on a Open Fire,” the holiday-themed special that was the pilot for that satirical animated series. It’s the latest in a long line of potshots that “The Simpsons” has taken at its corporate sibling, but will it be enough to reawaken the friendly(ish) war of words between that show and Fox News?
